The Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful installation of Institutional Partner non-complex new retirement plan sales, acting project manager and consultant for conversion activities. The Implementation Consultant will also act as the point of contact with the Institutional Partners as well as Plan Sponsor, Financial Advisor and Third-Party Administrator.

What you will do

  • Oversee all facets of the new client implementation of retirement plans onto Empower's recordkeeping platform

  • Facilitate weekly conference calls on assigned sales, and consult with various client contacts and internal departments regarding project management items

  • Educate clients about our service agreements and product features

  • Proactively anticipate client needs

  • Maintain established internal deadlines and timelines

  • Ensure a seamless handoff to the ongoing, internal client service team

  • Produce quality work on assigned sales through various quality assurance measures

  • Minimize market risks and gain/loss situations by leveraging existing procedures

  • Input recordkeeping setup of new plans in EASY (Empower Administrative System)

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred

  • 1 - 2 years Implementation or related work experience

  • Proficient knowledge of various IRS codes; 457, 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), etc.

  • Proficient knowledge of IRS/DOL reporting knowledge

  • Proficient regulatory compliance and plan document knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail required

  • Excellent time management

Base Salary Range

$63,100.00 - $89,125.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
