Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of software applications. Design, code, test and debug new and existing software and enhancements. Perform maintenance to developed and supported software. Create and/or update documentation that benefits end-users (e.g. how-to manuals) and/or others (e.g. program documentation and processes). May analyze business requirements and provide recommendations for solutions. Participate in company technology projects as needed.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build an integration process to send application error data to Elastic via API.
- With assistance from senior staff or management, program and test enhancements to software.
- With assistance from senior staff or management, perform routine maintenance to software.
- With assistance from senior staff or management, conduct research when necessary for a project but are within the scope of the Level I position.
- With assistance from senior staff or management, create and/or update documentation that benefits end-users (e.g. how-to manuals) and/or others (e.g. program documentation and processes).
- Meet project budgets and schedules.
- Respond quickly to software errors.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain quality standards on all projects.
- Enrolled in a Computer Science or related secondary education program.
- Experience developing software.
- Knowledge of C#, API and json technology.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
