CAD Technician
Overland Park, Kansas
Garver is seeking a CAD Technician to join our established Federal Services Team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties for civil/site projects including: initial project CAD setup, site layouts, utility layouts, rough grading, detailing, record drawing development, and coordination with multi-discipline teams.
The CAD Technician mustwork well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of drafting experience working in site development
- Associates or 2-year technical degree
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
Preferred Skills
- Plan/Profile development
- Storm and Sanitary Sewer pipe networks
- Development of existing and proposed surfaces
- Working knowledge of GIS software
