Infrastructure Administrator III - Windows
As an Infrastructure Administrator III you will be responsible for maintaining and administering our company's server environment and will be our Windows team "Team Lead." Your primary duties will include guiding our team in the build, run, and patch lanes while leading through projects. You will oversee the maintenance of our Windows environments. You will lead our Agile journey. You will be expected to work with the team and script, automate, and implement changes to pay down our tech debt while maintaining our SLA's with our customers.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Principle POC for Windows team
Evaluate escalated events and incidents for the team
Automate and improve processes each quarter by scripting changes and shifting left work
Support departmental and corporate goals by meeting KPIs and defined metrics
Support and follow change management processes and procedures
Standardize documentation for support of assigned systems and applications and facilitate training as needed
Support and mentor Administrator I and IIs to help them with development and learning
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Education & Experience
5 years of hands-on experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting a server environment
Preferred experience of 5 or more years of hands-on experience working in Windows administration - preferably on an Operations team
5 or more years required of IT work hands on experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments
Experience with audit support and response, and regulatory compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and PCI-DSS)
Solid understanding of standard business processes including Change Management, Problem Management, Work Prioritization, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement best practices, etc.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and SLACK
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment
