Job Description

The Mission Integration Retail Trainer provides assessment of retail associates in their work environment, supports in the mastery of their position and provides professional and  leadership development training to help them grow in their careers.  Provides training to store leadership team on mission integration and effective coaching methods.

 

Duties include:

  • Trains store associates and leaders with a high degree of excellence.
  • Assists in validation of Standard Operating Procedures as they relate to training.
  • Consults with managers, supervisors and employees to assess support needed.
  • Observes, evaluates, and documents each participants’ performance providing feedback to supervisor.
  • Works one-on-one with participants to improve work skills and production skills, as required.
  • Identify barriers that hinder employees’ performance.
  • Manages short and long-term training initiatives to include Career Foundational and Leadership Development topics.
  • Develops course and curriculum content to support career growth and leadership development skills.
  • Collaborates with managers to design, conduct, and track the class curriculum that provides individualized support for participants.
  • Collaborates across departments to accomplish company goals and maintain working relationships and open lines of communication.
  • Trains One Agency Orientation sessions.
  • Trains store leadership on how to coach a diverse workforce and utilize coaching tools to increase motivation and knowledge of job responsibilities (role modeling, visual aids, prompting, etc.).
  • Meets regularly with store leadership to update progress and provide support during 1:1 associate meetings.
  • Implement and deliver training for all competency levels within Retail.
  • Champion safety; serve as an advocate for new employees through leadership, teaching, and

  • Track training metrics, providing insight and innovation for continual improvement.
  • Work shifts may include evening and weekend hours
